indulgence. XD

a long-needed pair of sports shoes.
the last pair i bought was for school and that was already 7 years ago. (omg. 7 years ago.) LOL.

as much as i adore adidas, when it comes to buying, i'll eventually settle for nike without considering anything else.
the sudden gush of nostalgia while i reminisce such comfort.

its gonna be hard to go back to heels tomorrow morning. lol. XP


「ふたつの唇」 EXILE

friday night was amazing. lol.

and this was the "red" carpet where the interviewer planted me next to; where i screwed up my mandarin big time in front of the camera. rofl.
yes, i was grabbed by the camera just when i was telling mum to move to a less conspicuous spot. orz too late.
as usual, i was more concerned about pigging out at the little desserts and snacks before the dinner than the media all around. lol. <--- do realize that it was mum who got me into this crap and there she was grabbing the food from my hands and disappearing to some corner when i was caught. (-_-)" lol.

i would have been so much more comfortable in English or Japanese instead, but i had to be interviewed in Chinese. *faints*
and considering how i only remember stuff i watch on tv, this was how i was tempted to answer those questions...

Q (in Chinese): How do you feel about tonight's event?
Intended Answer: 能夠出席今天的頒獎典禮，我感到非常榮幸。<--typical line from a celeb interview, but no, i'm not a celeb. (couldn't use it!!) LOL.
Actual Answer: 能夠參加今天的盛典，我感到非常高興。<--or something to that effect. in other words, primary school chinese. OTZ

i took so long to think of event in Chinese, i almost said 婚禮. rofl.

Q: Will you still attend such an event if it were to be held again next year?
A: 會。
(Interviewer: "Err....你要把整句說出來...")
A: Oh, right. orz

LOL. ^^;;
there were a few more questions, but i can't exactly remember what happened. lol.
and then i was made to say eight words to the camera, do a double thumbs up pose, and hold for 5 secs. LOL.
Eight words. which i made the interviewer repeat with me at least 5 times after she taught me 3 times, afterwhich i finally let the camera shoot me. (do i REALLY think i'm a CELEB!!????) ROFL.

how hard is that to remember anyway!!!??? LOL. *pulls hair*

seriously need to brush up my Chinese for situations like this.
like how i was tongue-tied a few wks ago when some chuugokujin attempted to scout me for some modeling agency in town. orz
yar, chuugokujin. how ayashii is that anyway. rofl.


that aside, the 4-course western dinner was good (except for this uzai obasan who was sitting next to me. lol.)
and it was a cool experience watching the awards while enjoying the dinner. very celeb feel. <--an obvious 庶民 statement. lol.
they actually perform and give awards in breaks so u have time to eat! lol. (always thought that in dinner shows, people had to eat and watch at the same time.........)


right, and i haven't mentioned how cool the walk along the red carpet was. (no, i didn't walk it, they did. lol.)
6 pairs of celebs. coincidentally, i was on the male side of the path. XDD
and even more coincidentally, my left hand was the one ready to shake anyone's hand. XDDD

1. Moses (kyaaaaa!! cos i happen to be in a major 陳豪 mode recently. so much so that fung didn't even matter anymore. lol!)
2. 黎燿祥 (to whom i stuck my hand out out of courtesy, but he really did look better up close than on tv. lol!)
3. 馬俊偉 (immediately afterwhich i exclaimed to mum at my side "he's very cold!!!" LOL. <--cold hands. XP)
4. Fung (a lot calmer considering its not the first time i'm shaking his hand. oops. lol. XD)


expectedly, ron wasn't here.
and i felt like i was there for Moses until Fung surprised me by walking down the path amidst the dinner tables, singing one of my fave songs. XD
there, he did me in.
my greatest soft spot -- his voice.
gotta watch his con dvd again tmr. lol. XD

which explains why both Shinkaimaru and Stalag17 were pure male casts. lol. <--だから、違うって。

but..but...i promise i won't throw my shoe...just let me see u. *begs* lol.
(although i have to admit i'm very uncomfortable with "that" girl being in the cast...yes, that girl from "2nd house" *shivers*)
but no, i trust ken enough. うん。<--self-assuring. lol.
